HYDERABAD – The Qaumi Awami Tehreek (QAT) has elected Ayaz Latif Palijo as its President, according to the results of QAT’s election which was held here on Sunday.
According to the results announced by the Election Committee’s Chairman Mustafa Nizamani, 2,200 councillors of QAT from across Sindh cast their vote to elect the party’s office bearers.
Several writers, poets, intellectuals and journalists monitored the voting process as the observers. The party elected advocate Munawar Jatoi as Vice President, Mazhar Rahujo as General Secretary and Dr Aziz Talpur as Senior Vice President Hyderabad division.
Similarly, Muhammad Usman Laghari, Ali Raaz Johi and Arsala Bhalkani were elected as the Vice Presidents of Mirpurkhas, Sukkur and Larkana divisions.
