LAHORE- Samina Peerzada’s show ‘Rewind With Samina’ has raised questions around the host’s controversial statements, from her comments about therapy to her most recent remarks about the kind of Pakistanis who fall into the habit of consuming drugs.
Known for her stance against skin whitening products and accepting women in all colors, shapes, and sizes, it came as a surprise when Nadia Jamil appeared on an interview with Samina Peerzada on a YouTube show sponsored by a popular skin whitening brand.
Nadia released a public statement on her social media claiming that she had no idea the interview was sponsored by Fair and Lovely, and even though she has immense love and respect for the senior artist, she will be distancing herself from the show.
