KARACHI (Staff Report) – The resident of Pakistan’s port city of Karachi have spend Rs 30 billion for buying sacrificial animals on this Eid-ul-Azha.
According to a report Karachiites bought more than 500,000 animals to commemorate the ritual of sacrifice this year.
Around 140,000 he-goats, sheep and lambs were sold in central animal market of Karachi while more than 3500 camels were also sacrificed by Karachi residents. Another 3,40, 000 cows have also been sold on the occasion.
