ISLAMABAD (Staff Report) – Islamabad Assistant Commissioner Waqas Ahmad on Wednesday sealed the kitchen and bakery sections of capital’s five star hotel, Serena, over poor hygienic conditions.
According to a statement the administration officials raided Serena Hotel and found insects crawling on the floor of kitchen while rotten and unhygienic vegetables were also found stored in freezers.
The Assistant Commissioner told newsmen that they have also recovered a cache of frozen chicken which had expired last year.
Earlier last month the bakery section of Marriott Hotel was also sealed for the similar reasons.
