BIRMINGHAM (Online) – Nobel laureate Malala Yousufzai has said that there is need to launch Zarb-e-Qalam after operation Zarb-e-Azb to educate the children.
“We pay tribute to the valiant students and teachers of the Army Public School Peshawar. We need operation Zarb-e-Qalam after operation Zarb-e-Azb,” she said while addressing a ceremony held in Birmingham in connection with the Peshawar Army Public School tragedy.
Malala stressed that all political parties in Pakistan should work to defeat terrorism by forging mutual unity. “Terrorism can be eliminated through operation Zarb-e-Azb but how the mindset behind it can be eliminated,” she said calling for a giving education to the children.
Ahmad Nawaz, who was injured in the Peshawar tragedy, also addressed the ceremony saying December 16 was the darkest day in the history of Pakistan.
