LAHORE – The International Cricket Council (ICC) delegation has deemed the security arrangements made by Pakistan for the Champions Trophy 2025 satisfactory.

The ICC delegation visiting Pakistan includes Senior Events Manager Sarah Edgar, Event Manager and Champions Trophy Event Lead Aoun Muhammad Zaidi, General Manager of Cricket Wasim Khan, Security Manager David Musker, and Broadcast Consultant Mansoor Manj.

During their visit, the ICC delegation met PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi in Islamabad to review preparations for the 2025 Champions Trophy, discussing the arrangements in detail.

The ICC delegation expressed satisfaction with the security measures in place for the Champions Trophy in Karachi and Rawalpindi.

PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi assured the ICC delegation of world-class arrangements for the Champions Trophy, stating that stadium upgrades would be completed before the tournament and that foolproof security measures would be in place for all teams.

Naqvi emphasized that hosting the ICC Champions Trophy in Pakistan is an honor, and they are finalizing arrangements to match the scale of the tournament. He assured that players from all teams will enjoy cricket in a peaceful and secure environment, with upgraded facilities meeting international standards.
