SWAT – A young girl has reportedly fallen victim to sexual assault by jail superintendent in Battagram – a city located in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Reports in local media said the sexxual assault was confirmed by government hospital following her allegations. According to sources, the young woman accused the jail superintendent of calling her into his office, where the alleged assault took place.
The disturbing incident prompted immediate action from law enforcement, and a case has been registered against the accused jail superintendent.
District Police Officer (DPO) KP Police told media that jail superintendent secured pre-arrest bail from a local court while a departmental inquiry into the allegations is currently underway to ensure a thorough investigation into the charges made against him.
