LAHORE (Web Desk) – Police have arrested a man in first ever case registered under Women Protection Bill for allegedly beating her wife in Green Town area of the city.
Yusra Bibi had lodged a complaint with Green Town police that her husband Tayyab, a drug addict, tortured her over and demanded money from her.
Police have arrested the accused after registering a case and launched investigation, the Online news agency reported.
