MULTAN – Islamabad United secured their fifth consecutive victory by defeating Multan Sultans by 7 wickets in Pakistan Super League (PSL) 10,.
In the 13th match of the event held in Multan, Islamabad United chased down the 169-run target in 17.1 overs for the loss of just 3 wickets.
Gous played an unbeaten innings of 80 runs for United. Colin Munro scored 45, Sahibzada Farhan 22, and Mohammad Rizwan 21 before getting out.
For the Sultans, Michael Bracewell, Ubaid Shah, and Chris Jordan each took one wicket.
Earlier, after winning the toss and opting to bat first, Multan Sultans scored 168 runs for the loss of 5 wickets in the allotted 20 overs.
Usman Khan was the top scorer for the Sultans with 61 runs. Captain Mohammad Rizwan made 36, Yasir Khan 29, Iftikhar Ahmed 10, and Michael Bracewell 9 runs before getting out.
Kamran Ghulam remained unbeaten with 13 runs, and Chris Jordan with 6 runs.
