LAHORE (Staff Report) – It was been unclear why most hangings are scheduled at dawn. Until executioner, Nabil Masih, grandson of Tara Masih (who hanged Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto) spilled the beans.
Talking to Daily Pakistan, Nabil said that there was no specific reason behind early morning hangings. In fact, he said. most terrorists were hanged during the night so that family members can take corpse the deceased back home with them as soon as possible.
Nabil said that in the winters hangings were delayed for an hour as compared to the summer season due to the late rising of the sun.
