KARACHI (Web Desk) – In a latest development Chief of the Citizen-Police Liaison Committee (CPLC) Ahmed Chinnoy denied the news of Rangers raiding his house early in the morning to arrest the kidnapper.
While addressing a press conference on Tuesday he explained that Rangers did come to my residence but it was not the raid as reported by the media. Rangers visited my home to ‘discuss’ the matter of kidnapping that took place last night, he maintained.
We discussed the official matter while standing just outside my house, he added.
Chinnoy straight forwardly rejected the news which said that rangers produced the kidnapped child ‘Laraib’ and rupees 15 lac from his residence during the raid.
He said that CPLC was an assistance force while Rangers was a national institution and all misunderstandings must end after my media briefing.
Earlier CPLC chief had stated the raid at his house as a conspiracy against him.
