BAGHDAD – At least 12 people were killed and 35 injured when a suicide bomber detonated a car laden with explosives at a wedding in a town of Ameriyat, Falluja, on Thursday.
According to media reports, the attack appeared to have targeted the officials opposed to Daesh (IS) who were attending the wedding.
Daesh has been losing territory over the past year and faces a big battle to hold the city of Mosul in the north.
