MIRPUR (AJK) – 3G and 4G will soon arrive in Azad Jammu and Kashmir, including Mirpur division, meeting the longstanding demand of local internet users to access faster internet.
This was disclosed by Major Syed Jabran Danish, Acting Commanding Officer of the Special Communications Organisation (SCO) Mirpur division while responding to journalists.
State-run SCO formally announced to a change in its logo in line with its commitment to deliver high-quality services through latest technology in the telecommunication sector in AJK and Gilgit-Baltistan.
Senior SCO officials including Major Muhammad Mufeed, Major Omer and Captain Adnan Ahmed said that the new logo will reflect the latest quality services in the telecom sector which the SCO was providing to the masses in AJK and GB.
The Acting Commanding Officer said that SCO has expanded its network through DSL landline phone and CDMA wireless telephone services throughout AJK and GB, including in the far-flung and remote areas of the top hilly terrain in both regions.-APP
