LAHORE – A petition was filed in the Supreme Court on Wednesday against the complete ban on sale/purchase and import of seeds from United State in the country.
The applicant Barrister Zafarullah of Watan Party appealed that the seeds being imported from the US were not only affecting human beings dangerously but were also transforming the fertile land to barren.
The petitioner stated that cancer diseases frequently increasing in our society were due to unavailability of relevant laws about chemical usage. The petitioner further requested the court to ban the import of seeds from America and states.
