Blogger-Hate? Syed Noor holds Bloggers responsible for ruining his films , calls the hero slapping the heroine a slap of love

Uh-Oh, looks like Pakistani veteran director Syed Noor is not too happy about the comments he’s been receiving by ‘OUR KIND’ about his latest upcoming movie ‘Chayn Aye Na’.

Syed Noor writes that journalists have been here for a long time, but ‘bloggers’ are fairly new and a recent creation. He believes they don’t have the RIGHT education, and are hurting the industry with their negative reviews and comments.

Noor further urged media houses not to provide a platform to ‘SUCH’ people to write about movies. He stated that his movie had suffered a lot because of these bloggers in Pakistan.

“My movie was a box office success in US and Canada. I have collected all the stones that hit me and my film, and the foundation laid with stones is much stronger,” he stated.

He further blamed Indian agendas on hurting the Pakistani film Industry. He said that India did not want to see the Pakistani entertainment industry prosper, which is why writers were leaving negative remarks about his films.

“I don’t know why they do this. I think it’s an Indian agenda to hurt the Pakistani film industry. Our cinema is just once again growing and they don’t want to see this happen.”

He further notified bloggers that a huge investment is being brought into the country now that cinema is reviving, and with these negative reviews people would not be encouraged to invest in Pakistan:

“They must understand that we bring a huge investment into this industry and these negative reviews affect their output, which will discourage investors from returning again. I am not against bloggers. I am just strongly urging that they hold off reviews for at least a week and let the public decide.”

He claimed that he was WARNED about bloggers and told that they don’t write positive reviews unless they are paid, to which he paid no attention.

He added that he DID NOT KNOW THE POWER OF BLOGGERS, until now.

“I spent seven months making a film in Karachi and have resolved to make all my upcoming films in Karachi. For Chain Aye Na, I was warned about the bloggers, who I was told don’t write positive reviews unless they are paid. I ignored them but I didn’t know the power of bloggers.”

About the controversial slap in the movie, in which the actor hits the actress, Syed Noor stated:

“My film is a simple love story. And they turned it into a film against women, all because of a slap. I must tell you that it was a slap of love, as all lovers do fight.”
