Singer Zayn Malik and his girlfriend Gigi Hadid were seen enjoying the festival of Eid in a recent picture Zayn posted to his official Instagram account, with the caption ‘Eid Mubarik to everyone celebrating’.
The two were seen with their mothers, and Zayn shared the ‘family photo’ to his social media.
In an interview with the ‘Evening Standard’, Malik stated that he had grown up with the Islamic faith, but didn’t really follow it. “I’m not currently practicing it, but I was raised in the Islamic faith, so it will always be with me, and I identify a lot with the culture,” he stated.
“I take a great sense of pride and responsibility in knowing that I am the first of my kind, from my background,” he told the outlet. “I’m not currently practicing but I was raised in the Islamic faith, so it will always be with me, and I identify a lot with the culture.
