GSP survey reveals public inclination towards Shehbaz Sharif for the slot of PM

LAHORE – With political situation undergoing constant instability, there are some facts revealed by the Global Strategic Partner’s survey on Public Opinion in Pakistan, that are still in favour of PML N mostly because of Punjab Chief Minister Shehbaz Sharif.

There is a vast majority that wants to see Shehbaz Sharif as the next Prime Minister.

In a question regarding Imran Khan, Shehbaz Sharif and leaders of the other political parties, majority i.e. 65 % of the people voted Shehbaz “Good” as a person, which is highest among all the leaders respondents voted for. Imran Khan stood third with 51% votes.

Similarly, 47% of the responded considered Imran Khan as the second best choice for a good Prime Minister whereas Shehbaz Sharif scored highest i.e. 60%. Whereas a comparative analysis between IK and SS showed depicts clear majority for Shehbaz Sharif at 53% and for Imran Khan it was found out to be 39%.

A summary of the results says that due to tireless efforts of PML-N government, voters generally felt good about security, law and order, and development.

PML-N maintains a lead in the ballot test at 38 percent, with PTI in a very strong second place at 27 percent. PPP is in third with 17 percent.

The survey was conducted by US based organisation Global Strategic Partners (www.gsp.us.comand the data was collected by the institute for Public Opinion Research.
