Mehwish Hayat is a name that has become synonymous with big blockbusters like Punjab Nahi Jaungi which became the highest grossing Pakistani movie, with a box office of whopping Rs 50 crore.
Now there has been talk of Mehwish starring in a biopic that we all have been anxiously awaiting. It all started with a harmless Instagram post by @somethinghauteofficial.

And Mehwish Hayat took to Instagram to share a screenshot of an article, where the writer suggested Hayat as a possible actress to play the late PPP leader and former prime minister, Benazir Bhutto.
And as expected, news of a potential Bhutto biopic went viral on social media! People were really excited to see Mehwish play the great leader:
The starlet shared a picture where she wrote,“Benazir is a true hero of mine, a real powerful woman and a inspiration for many millions around the world. Would be a privilege and honour to play her on screen and bring her wonderful journey, her inspirational story to the world!”
Although we see a slight resemblance between BB and Mehwish Hayat, there has been however no confirmation that such a project is in the making and we all might have to wait to see this become a reality!
