LAHORE – Minister for Railways, Khawaja Saad Rafique has said that the revenue of the department which was Rs18 billion in 2013 will be Rs50 billion by the end of the current fiscal year.
Addressing a ceremony in Lahore on Sunday, he said practical measures have been taken to improve the efficiency of the railways and make it a profitable institution.
The minister said that incumbent government has steered the country from crises and eliminated the menace of terrorism.
