LAHORE – A news went viral recently in which a boy was weeping due to being scammed off 28,000 rupees for his bakra. The boy was not at all consolable and for obvious reasons, his livelihood is selling animals for Eid-ul-Adha so that believers can sacrifice. However, it is shocking that some people can even think to the point that they can scam someone into buying a bakra by paying fake currency. What is the point of a sacrifice if you are being dishonest with a poor goat seller for the sake of it?
However, the good news is that the young boy has received compensation for his loss by the owner of Iqra National University. He has been given 50,000rs for his loss of 28,000rs. He has been gifted shoes and clothes as well for the special occasion of Eid-ul-Adha.
