Pakistan Army pays tribute to Kashmiri martyrs on Youm-e-Shuhada Jammu

MUZAFFARABAD/RAWALPINDI – Kashmiris on both sides of the Line of Control and all over the world are observing  Jammu Martyrs’ Day today to renew their pledge to continue the martyrs’ mission till the realization of their inalienable right to self-determination.

Pakistan Army had paid tribute to the martyrs of November 6, 1947 and till date. Major General Asif Ghafoor, director general of Inter-Service Public Relation in a message on this day said: “Tribute to Kashmiri martyrs of 6 Nov 1947 & till date on KashmirMartyrsDay”.

“Their great sacrifices shall accrue result IA. Continued atrocities by Indian Occupation forces can never suppress just political struggle for their legitimate right of self-determination,” the military’s spokesperson said.

Hundreds of thousands of Kashmiris were massacred by the forces of Maharaja Hari Singh, Indian army and Hindu extremists in different parts of Jammu region while they were migrating to Pakistan during the first week of November in 1947.
