KARACHI (Web Desk) – Employees of Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) continued protest on second day, demanding the federal government to withdraw its decision of privatising the national flag carrier.

According to PIA’s Joint Action Committee, the protest would continue until the government withdraws its decision and gets the bill passed from the National Assembly.

The head office and other offices in major cities also remained closed.

Meanwhile, the PIA administration has requested the demonstrators not to close booking offices as it would panic for passengers.

The PIA spokesman said any delay in the schedule of flights could cause heavy losses to the airline and requested the employees to cooperate with the administration.
