RAWALPINDI (Staff report) – Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Raheel Sharif on Wednesday arrived in Urumqi, China for a day-long visit.
According to Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR), Army chief held meetings with Chief of General Staff General Fang Fenghui of People Liberation Army.
Both the military leaders discussed military to military relations, bilateral security cooperation and all dimension of long term CPEC security.
The Army Chief also held a separate meeting with Party Secretary Xinkiang province, Mr. Zhang Chun Xian in Urumqi. Pak-China bilateral relations and regional security issue with particular reference to CPEC completion and security were discussed during the meeting.
