Eidul Fitar moon sighting: Ruet-e-Hilal committee to meet on Sunday

ISLAMABAD - Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee is scheduled to meet tomorrow (Sunday) in Peshawar for sighting the moon of Shawwal 1438 AH.

The meeting will be held at administrator (Auqaf) office in Peshawar. However, the meetings of Zonal and District Ruet-e-Hilal Committees will be held at their respective headquarters at the same time, Ministry of Religious Affairs said on Saturday.

A control room has also been established for receiving evidence. The main announcement will be made by Chairman of the committee Mufti Muneebur Rehman. The moon according to Met office will be born at 7:31pm today (Saturday) and would be seen on Sunday in clear weather.
