Imran Khan faces social media flak as he dubs PSL foreign players 'phateechar'

ISLAMABAD - PTI chairman Imran Khan, famous for his comments has once again stirred controversy by terming the international players who played PSL final in Lahore as 'phateechar' (garbage).

The cricketer turned politician in an informal press talk opined that the international players who showed their skills in PSL final were simply unknown.

'I don’t know even the name of any of these so-called foreign players. It seems they were just picked up from anywhere like Africa. And, they are called foreign players' he said.

Imran insinuated that the all-rounder players who landed in Lahore for the Quetta-Peshawar contest would have arrived in Pakistan for domestic level of cricket provided they were given money.

Imran's lewd remarks regarding international cricketing giants like Darren Sammy, Marlon Samuels, Morne Van Wik, Rayad Emerittaste, Chris Jordan, David Malan and others stimulated social media buffs who took aim at former skipper.

It may be mentioned here that Imran also termed holding PSL final in Lahore as 'madness' that landed him in hot waters as well.
