MQM London announces members of new Rabita Committee

LONDON - The Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) London announced a new 12-member interim Rabita Committee on Friday.

According to Geo News, Nadeem Nusrat will be the convener of the main decision making body of the party which has faced large scale desertions in ranks and files after Altaf Hussain's August 22 speech.

They said  committee would comprise MQM members who recently resigned from their membership of the assemblies.

The committee will comprise of Nadeem Ehsaan, Wasay Jalil, Mustafa Azizabadi, Professor Hassan Zafar Arif, Ishaq Advocate, Amjadullah Khan, Kunwar Khalid Younus, Ashraf Noor, Akram Rajpoot, Ismail Sitara, Idrees Alvi Advocate and Momin Khan Momin.
