Qandeel was killed somewhere else, her body was brought home: Police

MULTAN (Web Desk) - In a sensational development regarding the Qandeel Baloch murder case, the investigators have claimed that the model was actually killed at some other place and the dead body was later brought back to her home.

Urdu daily Jang, while quoting unnamed police officials investigating into the homicide case, reported that police were now probing whether Qandeel's parents were also aware of her murder's planning or not.

The investigators suspected that the parents might be not involved in the murder of the model, but at least they were aware of the planning to this effect.

The report further mentioned a meeting which took place at the Multan RPO office where police's legal branch informed the participants that the case was legally very weak and could result in immediate release of all the suspects on very first hearing at the court.

"Qandeel's father, Mohammad Azeem, who is also the complainant in the case, is already withdrawing his previous statements with the police and there is quite a possibility that he will revert his stance before the trial court to get his sons released," the report added.

It is also worth mentioning here that police have so far detained around a dozen suspects in the murder case, however, only two of them have been produced in the court after confirmation of their arrest.
