ISLAMABAD – Prime Minister’s Adviser on Foreign Affairs Sartaj Aziz on Friday said that terrorism could only be defeated with the cooperation of the international community.

Talking to media persons in Islamabad, he said the forthcoming NATO Summit in Warsaw would be taking place under the shadow of terrorism, political turmoil and continuing conflicts in different parts of the world.

The adviser said operation Zarb-e-Azb in North Waziristan and combing operations in other parts of the country against terrorists had been very successful and its dividends had started reaching the people of Pakistan.

He said Pakistan appreciates the acknowledgement of our contributions to the war on terror by the international community and urges world leaders to take more steps to this effect.
