Samsung Galaxy Note 9 benchmark reveals Snapdragon chipset

SEOUL – Samsung is working on its next flagship Galaxy Note 9, months launching its S-series flagship devices Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9 Plus.

The prototype’s benchmark of Galaxy Note 9, which is expected to launch this year, has been spotted in the Geekbench database with SM-N960U model number.

A list leaked on the website, which specialises on smartphone benchmarks, shows the device features a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC and this must be the North American version of the smartphone, as other markets will probably get an Exynos 9810-powered Note 9.

The Geekbench listing shows 6GB of RAM and Android Oreo 8.1.0 present on board.

The Note9’s Geekbench results, 2,190 single-core score and 8,806 multi-core – pretty much similar to the Samsung Galaxy S9 and S9+.

There are however no details yet available on design and complete specification.
