'Jawani Phir Nahi Ani' all set to become biggest Urdu hit in terms of business

LAHORE (Staff Report) - Pakistani film 'Jawani Phir Nahi Ani' is expected to become the most earning Urdu movie ever, leaving behind Shan's Waaar by the end of third week of its release.

According to Box Office Pakistan, the grossing earning of movie was seen above Rs 22 crores at the end of second week of release. The movie witnessed an overall 30% decline in business during the second week.

The market analysts believe that movie will get cross Rs 30 crore mark this week to become the most earning Urdu movie of history.

The movie first broke the record of ‘Waar’ in terms of earnings on first day of screening then it became the fastest movie to cross Rs 10 crores mark in just five days. Jawani Phir Nahi Ani also left behind the Furious 7 by earning Rs 14 crores in first week of release.

Moreover the movie has earned a 7.9 rating at IMDb.

“Jawani Phir Nahi Ani” is said to be an adventure comedy film. Leading cast of the movie includes Hamza Ali Abbasi, Hamayun Saeed, Ahmad Butt, Vasay Chaudhry, Javed Shaikh, Ismail Tara, Mehwish Hayat, Sarwat Gillani, Sohai Ali Abro and Ayesha Khan.
