MUMBAI – Kangana Ranaut has been in the eye of the media for the whole of 2017. Be it her feud with Hrithik Roshan, her stance on women empowerment, or her upcoming movie, Kangana has made sure she stays in the limelight.
In late November 2017, it was reported that Kangana Ranaut had been injured on the sets of her upcoming movie ‘Manikarnika: The Queen Of Jhansi’ during an action sequence. The actress was seen wearing a cast on her right leg and was on a wheelchair.
She further told the media that: “During this scene, I stumbled and injured my right ankle. There was nothing serious. It was just a sprain.”
Now, an Indian tabloid claims that Kangana pulled the stunt to claim her insurance of ‘Manikarnika’ and that her leg was actually not injured.
The tabloid further reveals that Kangana was seen attending many social events right after the accident and even her leg cast was nowhere to be seen. Sources reveal that this ‘accident’ was made up by the actor and her producer so that they could pocket the insurance money for themselves.
