KARACHI - Hamdard Pakistan launched Rooh Afza's first carbonated drink for Pakistani customers, days ahead of the start of Holy month Ramazan.

The Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Hamdard, Usama Qureshi detailed on Wednesday that the drink would also be available for passengers of Pakistan International Airlines (PIA).

Rooh Afza GO would be available in Karachi soon, Qureshi confirmed.

Rooh Afza is one of the most favourite drinks for Pakistanis gearing up for Ramazan predicted to start from May 7; the launch of Rooh Afza GO has diversified their choice.

Rooh Afza is based on Tibb-i-Unani formulation which contains refined sugar, aqua fruits, aqua keora, aqua rose, aqua flowers, color FD&C. (Red 40) and preservatives.

It gives back the body the vigor, vitality and freshness depleted by excessive heat. In addition to its popularity as a drink mixed in water, Rooh Afza is also a strong favorite mixed in milk, fresh lime or yoghurt, plus it has a plethora of other uses, such as being the vital ingredient in home-made ice cream, sorbet, slush, smoothies, sundaes and many other sweet and savory dishes.
