NEW DELHI – A former worker of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has blown the lid off India’s claims about a recent attack in Indian occupied Kashmir, alleging that the ruling party was responsible for the Pulwama attack.
In a video circulating widely on social media, the former BJP worker Avi Dandiya plays an audio file where two individuals, one believed to be Amit Shah can be heard conversing over how a war is required to garner support in the upcoming elections.
In the audio call, a woman can be heard inquiring how a war would be initiated without a reason to which the man replies that the nation is very emotional on the issue of soldiers.
“Do you want to martyr soldiers? Nothing will happen with one of two. We did Uri and nothing happened,” the female replies.
At one point, the audio clearly indicates that the Pulwama attack might be an inside job.
“I don’t want to listen, Amit ji. Anyway, if I don’t do it, someone else will. You want a bomb blast, we will make it happen. Whatever you people want, it will happen. If the country’s soldiers are martyred, have you thought about what will happen to their families?” the lady says in the audio call.
“We can cause a blast there, some army dead, some paramilitary forces dead, some CRPF dead. If 100-50 jawans die then the country’s nationalism will be unified,” the lady says.
At one point in the audio, the lady also pinpoints the date on which the explosion would be ‘staged’.
“I don’t want to argue with you. I will get your work done, just send me the money. I will again call you around February 12-13, send me the money,” the lady says.
The former worker Dandiya also threatened that he would release another ‘picture’ and challenged to invalidate his claims though some Indian news websites are disputing the authenticity of the audio call.
Over 40soldiers were left dead in the Pulwama attack on February 14th for which India pinned blame on Pakistan, without any evidence.
