LAS VEGAS – At least 58 people have been killed and hundreds injured in a mass shooting at a Las Vegas concert on Sunday night.
A gunman, named as 64-year-old Stephen Paddock, opened fire from the 32nd floor of the Mandalay Bay Hotel toward an open-air music festival.
The city police confirmed that a suspect was shot down, however, advised people to refrain from visiting the site.

A hospital spokesperson has told CNN that multiple people have been taken to hospital with gunshot wounds.
Authorities were looking for a companion of the shooter, Marilou Danley, as well as two vehicles, a Hyundai Tucson with Nevada license plate 114B40 and a Chrysler Pacifica Touring with Nevada license plate 79D401.
Nevada has some of the least stringent gun laws in the United States.
People are allowed to carry weapons and do not have to register themselves as a gun-owner.
Background checks are done when people buy guns, but they are also allowed to sell them privately.
The state does not ban assault weapons, which are automatic or semi-automatic firearms, and there are no limits on buying ammunition there.
