KARACHI – A solar eclipse is set to take place on the night between October 2 and 3 (Wednesday and Thursday), said Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD).
The last solar eclipse of 2024 has been named as “Ring of Fire” by experts. However, it will not be visible in Pakistan as it will occur in the night.
The solar eclipse will be visible in South and North America, the Pacific, the Atlantic, and Antarctica.
As per the Meteorological Department, the eclipse will begin at 8:43 PM Pakistani time, with the full eclipse starting at 9:51 PM.
The eclipse will peak at 11:45 PM and end at 2:47 AM, it said.
