ISLAMABAD – The government has introduced a new contributory pension fund scheme for all federal government employees.
The Ministry of Finance has issued an office memorandum regarding the pension scheme introduced by the federal government.
It states that this scheme will apply to all employees who are recruited on a permanent basis on or after July 1, 2024.
According to the memorandum, civilian employees paid from the defence budget are also included in the scheme.
Additionally, the scheme will apply to personnel of the armed forces who are recruited on a permanent basis on or after July 1, 2025.
