Shiv Sena threatens to disrupt Ghulam Ali’s music launch

NEW DELHI (Web Desk) – The music launch of Pakistani folk maestro Ghulam Ali is facing fresh hurdles, with the Hindu extremist party Shiv Sena threatening to disrupt the event.
The function has been scheduled in New Delhi today (Monday).
Movie’s director Suhaib Ilyasi has lodged a complaint following a ‘threat’ call from Vishnu Gupta, the chief of Shiv Sena.

“I have met DCP, New Delhi, to talk about the threat regarding disruption of the music launch of my film ‘Ghar Wapasi’ tomorrow. The film stars Ghulam Ali sahab and the Hindu Sena president is saying that they will not let the event to happen,” Ilyasi said.
The 75-year-old singer has always maintained that threats and cancellation of his concerts in no way have affected his love for his Indian fans.
