NOSHKI – All 60 wedding guests who went missing amid heavy rain in Zaro area of Noshki have been found safe, Deputy Commissioner (DC) Noshki said on Saturday.
Shakeel Ahmed, DC Noshki confirmed that all the missing persons including the bride and her groom were found safe. Civil administration and Frontier Corps had dispatched teams to the area which carried out search operation and succeeded in locating the missing eight buses.
“A helicopter of Pakistan Army also participated in the search operation”, the DC added.
The buses were found to be stuck in mud caused by heavy rain in the area. He went on to say that all the passengers were safe and arrangements were being carried out for their early return.
The wedding guests went missing on their way back to Nushki from Chagai, late Friday night.
