ISLAMABAD (APP) – A six-member Pakistan Weightlifting contingent on Wednesday was given visa by the Indian High Commission (IHC) to participate in the Commonwealth Youth, Junior and Senior Weightlifting Championships scheduled to be held at Pune from October 11 to 16.
Talking to APP, Amjid Amin Butt, Honorary Secretary, Pakistan Weightlifting Federation (PWF) said the weightlifters for the championship included Nooh Dastgir Butt, Muhammed Shahzad, Usman Amjad Rathore and Muhammad Saqib.
He said the officials to accompany the team included Amjid Amin Butt, Manager and Muhammad Ilyas Butt, Coach.
