Pakpattan’s plane-maker receives Rs100,000 as gift from an admirer

PAKPATTAN – The plane-maker of Pakpattan has received a gift of Rs100,000 from a man from Okara.

Earlier, Muhammad Fayaz, a resident of Arifwala from Pakpattan district, got fame after he made a small plane.

He had attempted to fly the mini plane, without registration from any concerned authority. Fayaz was also arrested during the trial run at an open field on March 31.

A popcorn seller and a security guard by profession, Fayyaz had made a small aircraft with his savings and a bank loan of Rs50,000. The plane maker was later released by the local court after Rs3,000 charge.

According to media reports, Dr Iftikhar from Okara invited Fayaz to his home and gifted him the money. He also offered Fayaz to remain in touch with him in case of any technical support. He said he gifted money to Fayaz so that he could meet operational expenditures of the plan.
