QUETTA (Web Desk) – Four-day anti polio campaign has concluded in Quetta on Friday fairling to meet its target.
During the campaign 461,000 children less than five years were to be vaccinated for which 67 teams were formed, however, the target could not be achieved due to vacations and absence of families in their homes.
According to health department, during the campaign 361,500 children were vaccinated against polio virus whereas a large number of children were left unvaccinated.
Pakistan has been on the top of the list to host polio virus carriers since year 2014.
