Singer Kailash Kher has been accused by a photo journalist Natasha Hemrajani of sexual misconduct. The #MeToo movement has taken over bollwood on full swing and the new name which came forward is Kher. However this isn’t the only accusation, other women are also coming forward to support Hemrajani’s accusations.
Kher gave his statement to a leading daily explaining how he is sorry if someone has ever felt harassed in his presence. “For all those who know me and have come across me , will know how much I respect humanity , especially women, even more for the ones who work in media since their work is difficult.”
He was accused by Hemrajani in a twitter thread;

Other accusations are made by another journalist from Muscat to a journalist in Bangalore;

Another person came forward to report how his friend had to experience something similar:

Kher further told the leading daily how he was traveling for a gig when he heard about this news. He further added in his statement “ I got extremely disappointed to know what my state of happiness has been taken for. I am neither aware of such act that has been mentioned not remember it. I am almost all the time in my own simple world , but in case anyone has taken or thought something differently about anything , then it is my sincere apology. My devotion to music makes me who I am and I’m thankful for all the love and support.”
So many incidents and he doesn’t even remember a thing? Also the way he apologized it was more like explaining how he is not a predator. If these claims are let go of just because he apologized then all the struggles of women will fail as this is not what the victims deserve, a mere apology. A strict action must be taken against predators.
