Three Punjab University students badly injured by drifting car

LAHORE – At least three students were severely injured after a drifting car hit them on premises of the University of Punjab earlier this week.

It was reported by a Facebook page where some videos of students of the New Campus protesting the incident have also been shared.

Students claim that the car was being driven by a second lieutenant, a junior commissioned officer in army, who was also not a student of the varsity.

A student in the video revealed that a girl, and two boys were injured in the accident and they are being treated at a hospital.

The protesting students also claim that the security incharge of the university, Col (retired) Obaid, is trying to protect the accused in the case.

It is yet to know that a case has been registered against the driver whose identity has also not been disclosed.
