Pakistan has seen a big boom in the Kickboxing and mixed martial arts trends with more and more enthusiasts joining in to learn these two great art forms. However as with most physical activities, a lot of this crowd may not necessarily be women. The taboo associated with men and women partaking in such activities together is still very much in place but one inspirational woman is changing that.

Meet Rameesha Shahid, the passionate girl from Karachi who is Pakistan's first certified kickboxing instructor!

K7 wasnt always teeming with so many enthusiastic girls, however, and in her time Rameesha was the ONLY female student who trained under Master Jamil Cahndio.

Since then she has become somewhat of a celebrity, with news of her achievements circulating prominent news channels and newspapers as well.
