LAHORE – A 100-year-old woman is going to run against PTI Chairman Imran Khan in this year’s general elections from northern Pakistan, proving age just about numbers and it’s never too late to be a dreamer.
Hazrat Bibi, a centenarian from Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, filed nomination papers on Monday for National Assembly’s NA-35 (Bannu) and K-P Assembly’s PK-89 (Bannu III) seats with a special focus on girl education.
“I will pay extra attention to education for girls if I succeed,” Bibi promised.
She will stand in the poll as an independent candidate.
