LAHORE (Staff Report) – Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Sheharyar Khan Thursday said that cricket teams of Afghanistan, Nepal and World XI are interested to play cricket matches in Pakistan, however PCB is waiting for security situation to be improved in the country.
“Joyles Clarke of ICC played a key role to invite cricketing nations to Pakistan, he said while speaking at PCB’s annual General Body session in Lahore.
He told participants that PCB has also prepared budget for the proposed tours of international and is currently waiting for government’s formal approval.
On the occasion, Sheharyar Khan said that International Cricket Council’s (ICC) “Big Three” plan will be rolled back in forthcoming meeting of international cricket body. PCB has always opposed the BIG Three and its roll back would be a positive gesture by all other boards, he added.
