Get Your Passes, Lahore, You Definitely Wouldn't Want To Miss This Play by Chota Mota Theatre
Chota Mota Theatre is having a play from 19th December to 21st December at Alhamra Arts Council (Mall Road) - and from what we've seen they're brewing up a great something - and we don't want you to regret not experiencing it!

The 'Chota Mota Theatre' is a joint venture that was founded by Mobeen Ejaz and Sarah Zahid - both National College of Arts (NCA) graduates and passionate theatre fans who have re-introduced this art in a new perspective to Pakistan. They have come up with a theatrical program designed especially for children in Pakistan basing predominantly on children’s theatrical journeys that they specialize in.

Not only children but young/adult enthusiasts, amateur and professional actors are encouraged to join as well. The courses they offer aim to strengthen unexplored talents and acting skills in the Pakistani of today. With all the monotony of continuous parhai and chaos in our country, this venture aims to give everyone a break (literally) and cultivate not only their minds but give them a platform to be expressive and imaginative.

Chota Mota Theatre's efforts are not only aimed at the personal growth of a Pakistani individual but they strive to make a significant difference to our nation's educational system. Through the medium of theatre, a child or an adult can express themselves in way they weren't aware of earlier. Here is an opportunity to explore your hidden talents, all while experiencing the lives and times of a Pakistani citizen.

Chota Mota Theatre is bringing the concept of street theatre to Pakistan. They performed a theatrical promo of their upcoming play, 'Bol Kay Lubb Azaad Hain Teray' in Mall of Lahore and Amanah Mall recently and it was received very well by the audience already!

'Bol Kay Lubb Azaad Hain Teray', is a tribute to Faiz Ahmed Faiz - a story of a man, Hashim, who is not very different from all of us, who has lost faith in his own voice. He struggles to express his love, anger, his hopes and dreams to everyone around him but fails each time. His tale of freedom from his own mind is expressed with the help of poetry in this play.
With live music orchestrated by Tehseen Wajaha, choreography and stage movement by Nerda Khara, the play is written and directed by Mobeen Ejaz and Sarah Zahid themselves.

Iconic artists Ali Noor and Ali Hamza of Noori, Kanwal Khoosat, Adnan Siddiqi, Zara Noor Abbas and many more are supporting Chota Mota Theatre and will be there.

We hope to see you there as well!
Passes are free and are available today onwards at Westeros Cafe (DHA), Gloria Jeans (Model Town) and Gloria Jeans (Johar Town).
