SHIKARPUR: A poor pregnant woman gave birth to her child outside Shikarpur Madeji Rural Health Centre when she was reportedly not given medical assistance by the doctors.
Reportedly, she was not admitted to the hospital and refused to provide maternity facilities since she had no money.
However, the administration of the health centre has denied allegations of not providing medical facilities to the woman.
In rural areas, women usually travel to far away areas for emergency maternity facilities. Many women die because of delayed provision of medical care.
