MUMBAI (Web Desk) – Bollywood star Aamir Khan has once again surprised people after shedding 25 kgs in just a couple of months for his role in ‘Dangal’.
The 51-year-old actor previously went from 68kgs to 93kgs in six months for his role of the ageing wrestler Mahaveer Singh Phogat during the first phase of Dangal’s shoots.
And now to shoot for the next phase of the film, he has lost all that gained weight to play the character of young Mahaveer.
The “perfectionist” of Bollywood is playing the main protagonist in a biopic on Indian wrestler Mahaveer Singh Phogat, in which he teaches his daughters, Babita Kumari and Geeta Phogat, how to wrestle.
Geeta Phogat was India’s first female wrestler to win at the 2010 Commonwealth Games, where she won the gold medal (55 kg) while her sister Babita Kumari won the silver (51 kg).
The film has been directed by Nitesh Tiwari and will also star actors Sakshi Tanwar, Fatima Sana Shaikh and Sanya Malhotra. It is slated for a December 23 release.
