LAHORE – Misbah ul Haq, skipper of Pakistan test cricket team, set a new surprising record during his last innings while playing ongoing Pak-West Indies test series in Dominica, but his mother did not seem to be too happy about it and scolded him on a phone call.
Talking to a private news channel, Misbah’s mother said that when she watched him scoring just one run against 50 ball she went surprised on his performance and made a call to him.
“During phone call, I asked why he made only one run in 50 balls, and he started laughing,” she added.
His mother further said on call, “Maybe your wife has no issue with your performance, but if my husband had made the same record, I would have dealt with him strictly.”
